Concrete Mixing Plant Equipment Reducer Gear Oil Replacement

Reducer is an important components that are used in many mechanical equipments. In the equipment of the concrete mixing plant, the maintenance of the speed reducer is very important to the overall mechanical equipment operation. The maintenance of the reducer is generally the replacement of gear oil. This requires careful distinction of the gear oil before replace it,so as to choose high-quality gear oil.

After selecting the gear oil, you can start the oil replacement work. The process is actually quite simple. Place a suitable container under the drain plug, remove the oil plug, vent and drain plug, and drain the gear oil (higher temperature, easier to discharge). When all other fluids are discharged and cleaned, replace the drain plug seal and install the drain plug. According to the specified oil level, add new gear oil. Do not mix gear oils of different manufacturers or specifications. Check and ensure that the gear oil has high anti-emulsification performance and EP rating. Then replace the oil seal plug and install the oil filler plug. After that, you can start the test and check if there is abnormal sound when the reducer is unloaded. If there is no abnormal sound, production work can be carried on.
